Western Estate - Local Offers
We listened, we acted
In 2021 we engaged with our tenants living on the Western Estate to find out what is important to them. This engagement has allowed us to form Local Offers (the actions we’ve agreed with the community and our partners) for the estate which we will be working on with residents and partners until the end of 2024. Collectively we have managed to deliver the following so far.

Our repairs offer
We listened when you highlighted concerns about repairs to your homes being carried out quickly, efficiently and satisfactorily.
We will respond to emergency repairs in 4 hours, urgent in 5 days, routine 10 days and planned repairs in 25 days.
Between April 2021 and March 2024 we have increased tenants satisfaction with our repairs. Our aim going forward is to continue to improve our service and will feed this back to our tenants through our estate newsletter and Facebook page.

We know that the ‘cost of living’ is affecting everyone, but some more than most. We can support you to improve your skills and provide routes into work to help ease the financial burden.
Our Livin Futures team can help you access training, volunteering opportunities and job vacancies.
Between April 2021 and March 2024 our Livin Futures employability team supported 47 tenants into employment.
